Welcome to the Jungle

Welcome to the jungle, it gets worse here every day!  You learn to live like an animal in the jungle where we play!

Panther Cuff

Sometimes you may find yourself utterly bewildered by circumstances beyond your control and may not be sure what to do.  You may make a list of possible options.  It may look something like this:

A) Lie face down in the Providence River.  Inhale deeply.  Repeat.  Find peace?

B) Move to the desert.  Live in a tent “off the grid”.

C) Move to a mountain without any apparent inhabitants.  Claim it for yourself.  Post a sign.  Start a cult that actually admits no one.  Shoot intruders on sight.

D) Drink until you wake up in a strange place surrounded by people you have never seen before.  Start a new life as the champion mechanical bull rider/town sweetheart/pie baker.  Reveal your dark side when the townspeople have already accepted you into their hearts and they can’t bring themselves to slay you as they must.  Except for Douglas, the sheriff, with whom you shared a steamy romance and who still loves you.  He finds the strength to drive the stake into your heart, but the trauma of having murdered his beloved hangs heavily in his heart and one week later he throws himself off a bridge, crying out your name.  The sound of your name on his lips causes you to resurrect, whereupon you immolate the remains of the town and its few survivors before you self-destruct in a shriek of self-loathing agony.

E) Question why you’ve been resisting the urge to walk into oncoming traffic.  Walk into oncoming traffic.  Find peace?

F) Go to church.  AHAHAHAHAHAAA!  Just kidding.

G) Go feral.

I think the last is probably the most realistic and most sane option.  If you try to make sense from chaos, you’re not going to get very far.  Absorb it.  Let it wash over and through you.  Let go of rational thought.  Become a beast, responding only to the call of the wild.

Lion Ring

Respond to the call of the hunt.

Panther Necklace

Peer out through slitted eyes hidden in the shadowy depths of lush tropical verdure.

Floral Fascinators

Camouflage yourself yourself in muted tones when you don’t want to be found.

Kill when hungry.  Unabashedly let the remains of your kill stick to you.

Leather and Feather Lariat

Let lightning shoot out of your eyes, and your roar be the sound of cracking thunder.

Lightning Bolt Earrings

When trouble comes your way, eat it up.  Gulp it down.  Then sleep exposed, out in the open, knowing that nothing will dare approach you.

I wanna hear you scream.
