Remember that film “Bedazzled,” the racy British comedy from the 60s? Here’s a refresher:
Dudley Moore plays a dissatisfied young man who works in a greasy spoon diner and admires, from afar, the magnetically alluring waitress Margaret (played by Eleanor Bron). Despairing of his unrequited infatuation, he attempts suicide, and in the midst of this he is interrupted by the Devil, who makes him an offer…in return for his soul, the Devil gives Moore seven wishes. Stanley desires the mod-tastic Margaret so extremely that he uses every single one of his wishes in an attempt to satisfy his lust for her. Every attempt is a drastic fail – the stylin’ Margaret is utterly unflappable.
This outfit is Margaret incarnate, and it couldn’t come at a better time. The trees are turning red and this dress is turning heads! There is nothing quite as alluring as a woman in a red shift – and with clever pleats and a round scoop neck that give a nod to mod – any man would sell his soul. These tights give the retro Brit vibe a contemporary twist, and the boldness of their hue screams “hard to get”. The handsomely designed “Victoria” bag adds the perfect polish to your new fall look, and then you’ve got the Delphi’s. Oh, the Delphi’s…the color, the buttons, the creamy leather… no outfit is complete without a shoe that makes them wonder “how ever does she do it.”
Come on, you posh little devils, it’s time for us to turn up the heat!
