Semi-Annual Sale Faves

Hey Dolls! We here at Queen of Hearts and Modern Love are here to deliver you some wonderful news in the midst of this dreary, sleepy weepy January: we are having a GIANT SEMI-ANNUAL SALE ’til Sunday, meaning that you have FOUR DAYS to get your paws onto a glowing selection of clothes, jewelry, hats, bags, wallets, backpacks, bralettes, and shoes!

Here is where I will discuss a few of my many favorite items in the “sale section”, which currently covers the majority of the sales floor. This was a tough decision to make.

It was love at first sight between me and The Sheila Bag from Hobo (in Jasper, pictured below. As in, I removed it lovingly from the delivery box and was immediately starry-eyed.

Its gorgeous green color caught my eye, its hefty size and build was an excellent fit for the excessive amount of items I carry (potentially even a laptop?!), and upon looking at the floral lining (signature to Hobo products), I was simply sold. Sheila is on sale for $238.40, 20% off of its original price!

Another favorite is the darling Seams Like These Cami from Free People.

Typically, I *really* dislike wearing camis, especially in hot weather. Adding an extra layer of clingy spandex-like fabric isn’t a good feeling, and not many of them are cute or stylish enough to wear on their own. Fortunately for me (and you), Free People has adorable tank tops, and we have a number of them in-store! This one somewhat of a cross between a cami and a sleeveless top – the material is thin and strechy, but the straps are thick, the front is button-down, and the buttons are close enough together not to burst at the seams, even for myself and all my busty lady pals out there. It gives off a lovely corset-y, victorian shapewear vibe, it can be layered or not layered, and it is on sale for $29.99!

Next, we are going to keep our heads nice and warm with the loveliest magenta velvet turban from Voodoo Vixen:

AND it’s $9.60. Who could say no to looking like a luxurious vintage winter angel with minimal effort? Not me.

And here is where I wrap this up on an extra cozy note, with the Homie Home Cardigan from Hem & Thread. I love this sweater because it makes me feel like an actual teddy bear. I’m not even sure it’s right to consider it a “cardigan” because of how comfortable and versatile it is.

I enjoy pairing this with other whites, browns, beiges, and hints of color (pink is particularly nice). I would typically wear this out on those *not-too-hot-not-too-cold* days, where I can comfortable wear this with a scarf over a turtleneck. It is also great to wear to bed on super cold days, or to bundle up in, or to use as a blanket. It is truly a showstopper, and for $29.99!

These gems, and so, so many more are on sale in-store ’til Sunday! Come in and check ’em out! Try ’em on! Get styled by me or one of my fellow Queen of Hearts Babes! Do it up, dolls.
